I had forgotten a funny that happened the last time Annabelle was over and thought I would add it here. Mommy was on the computer and didn't hear the cellphone ringing. She's usually the first to hear it, but this time we heard it. We told her it was ringing and by that time it had gone from its buzz to the ring-a-ling-a-line which meant it had been ringing for a while.
Everybody was searching frantically to find that darn phone. Not here, not there, where oh where is the phone? Little Annabelle pointed over to Granddaddy's chair and said, "In the diaper bag." Granddaddy denied sitting on the diaper bag even as we tried to remove him. The man can sit/sleep anywhere without it bothering him in the least. The story about the princess and the pea definitely wasn't written about him, even if he does consider himself the tough guy, the prince/king instead of a sweet tender little princess.
